Tonna Faxon, Managing Partner
Tonna Faxon is the Managing Partner of TKF Law in Newberg, Oregon and a Partner with Evangeline Fisher Grossman Law in Claremont, California. This unique, multi-jurisdictional arrangement allows Ms. Faxon to provide sophisticated legal representation and seamless support to clients across a broad spectrum of legal matters, regardless of where their legal needs may arise.
Licensed to practice law in Oregon, California, Missouri and Kansas, Ms. Faxon brings nearly three decades of experience handling complex litigation and high-stakes transactional matters. Her practice encompasses real property and business transactions, consumer protection, estate planning, complex commercial litigation, financial elder abuse, sex abuse cases, and matters impacting the equine industry.
She serves as trusted counsel to business owners, advising on daily operational and strategic legal needs. Her work includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of contracts and agreements; business entity formation; regulatory compliance; OLCC licensure; corporate policy development; contract interpretation; risk management; and litigation. Many of her business clients also rely on her guidance for estate planning and probate matters, where she provides thoughtful, strategic solutions tailored to families and closely held businesses.
Her insurance practice focuses on representing homeowners and business owners in significant property loss claims involving water, fire, wind, and theft. She also aggressively pursues business interruption, disability, and bad faith insurance claims on behalf of policyholders.
Ms. Faxon’s litigation experience includes more than twenty years representing insureds and consumers in multi-million-dollar class action and complex commercial cases against the nation’s largest insurance companies. Throughout her career, she has secured substantial verdicts and settlements for individuals harmed by improper and bad faith insurance practices.
In addition, Ms. Faxon has extensive experience representing professionals and organizations within the equine industry. She has successfully advised and defended Olympic and World Equestrian Games team members, providing contract negotiation and drafting, business formation and counseling, risk assessment and mitigation, defense of administrative disciplinary matters, and litigation representation before sanctioning bodies and racing commissions.
Ms. Faxon has held numerous leadership roles within the American Bar Association, including serving as Insurance Chair, Roundtable Committee Co-Chair for the Consumer Litigation Section, Roundtable Committee Chair for the Class Action and Derivative Suits Committee, and Co-Chair of the ABA Section of Litigation Expo Committee.
A committed community leader, Ms. Faxon is a former board member and past President of the Chehalem Valley Chamber of Commerce and currently serves as a Board Member for First Federal Savings and Loan. She also serves as a Committee Member of the United States Equestrian Federation Andalusian/Lusitano Committee.
Ms. Faxon divides her time between Newberg, Oregon, and her ranch in Ribera, New Mexico, which she owns and operates with her husband. Outside of her legal practice, she is an accomplished and nationally ranked dressage competitor, actively involved in importing and breeding Spanish and Portuguese bloodline horses, and proudly supports her son’s academic and athletic pursuits at Arizona State University.
S. Conor Hinds, Associate Attorney
A native of the Portland area, Mr. Hinds serves as an Associate Attorney focusing on contract law, real estate, and estate planning. Mr. Hinds brings a uniquely disciplined perspective to the firm, having earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon in 2016. This scientific background provides a rigorous, evidence-based approach to complex legal analysis and problem-solving.
Mr. Hinds earned his Juris Doctorate from Willamette University College of Law, where he specialized his studies by obtaining certificates in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution as well as Law and Business. Admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 2024, he combines this specialized training to offer clients sophisticated counsel in both transactional matters and strategic planning.
Whether navigating intricate real estate agreements or drafting comprehensive estate plans, Mr. Hinds is dedicated to providing the precise, detail-oriented advocacy necessary to protect the interests and future legacies of clients throughout the Willamette Valley area.
Mr. Hinds currently resides in Tualatin, Oregon, where he is a member of the local Washington County Bar Association. His free time is spent exploring the Pacific Northwest with his wife and their new daughter.
